WHO WE ARE

Established in 2020 by the president of the Brasal companies, Instituto +Brasal focuses on education and the strengthening of public-purpose organizations. What drives Instituto +Brasal is the same core value as the companies: the Brasal culture of achievement, oriented to achieving results by doing more and better, through relationships of trust and care for people, which brings us closer to everyone who is part of the group's ecosystem (employees and their families, suppliers and customers). Its choices are guided by a systemic view, recognizing the complexity of the problems and the contribution of other initiatives. It prioritizes social and public issues, especially in situations of vulnerability, reaffirming its commitment to social justice.

Its specialized contribution focuses on complementing the school curriculum, on the professional development of young people and on strengthening civil organizations. Considering that the companies' employees are a fundamental asset for Brasal's socio-environmental impact, the Institute also takes on the role of creating conditions to enhance their possibilities of contribution and voluntary action in social and emergency initiatives through its corporate volunteering program, which also works transversally across the other areas of activity.

ORGANIZATIONAL GUIDELINES

The Institute's work is focused on social issues and priority audiences, considering situations of greater vulnerability, reaffirming its role in confronting inequalities and its commitment to social justice.

Our guidelines are based on:

Connecting and exchanging experience with organizations (Private Social Investment);
Identifying the best practices and organizational learnings of the third sector;
Working on the institutional development of Civil Society Organizations;

By adopting the first person plural, we highlight the collectivity that constitutes the Institute, for it is made by all of us, in its entirety. It is not just about donating, but about sharing, exchanging knowledge and experiences that permanently impact and transform the lives of everyone involved.
